Movies (FoilHole*.mrc) in this entry were compressed to TIFF by EMPIAR Japan to save space and bandwidth.
The compression is lossless in that all pixel intensities remain exactly the same after decompression.
However, some metadata in the MRC header were lost.
The original files before compression are available from EMPIAR EBI.

Compression was carried out by separating (“un-normalizing”) the gain.

https://relion.readthedocs.io/en/release-3.1/Reference/MovieCompression.html#gain-normalised-movies.

PDBj discovered that the movies were recorded with two gain references.
They were grouped into gain-group1 and gain-group2 subdirectories.
Please apply the gain reference (gain-reference.mrc in each folder) during processing.

Details:
Micrographs are the average of 25 unaligned, gain-corrected frames. Images were collected on a Krios with a K2 detector and energy filter with a slit width of 20eV. Data were collected over 10 seconds with a dose rate of 5.87 e / A-2 / s with a total dose of 58.7 e/A-2.
