Movies in the image sets 1 to 6 of this entry were compressed to TIFF by EMPIAR Japan to save space and bandwidth.
The compression is lossless in that all pixel intensities remain exactly the same after decompression.
However, some metadata in the MRC header were lost.
The original files before compression are available from EMPIAR EBI.

Note:

The image set 6 (tripartite SC - dataset 6) contained one MRC movie,
April2019-K2/20190405_1114_A024_G000_H002_D000.mrc, while all the others had
the MRCS extension. This movie was compressed as the others.

This image set also contained the following two files, whose pixel intensities
are not the same:
- April2019-K2/20190405_1114_A009_G000_H274_D001.mrc.bz2 and
- April2019-K2/20190405_1114_A009_G000_H274_D001.mrcs.
April2019-K2/20190405_1114_A009_G000_H274_D001.mrcs was compressed to TIFF,
while April2019-K2/20190405_1114_A009_G000_H274_D001.mrc.bz2 was kept as is.
