Image formats and pixel types shown below are those of the original, non-compressed files.

MRC movies (*_Fractions.mrc) in this entry were compressed by bzip2 (pbzip2)
by EMPIAR Japan to save space and bandwidth.

Some programs (e.g. RELION >= 4.0.1 and CryoSPARC) can process compressed movies without explicit
decompression. For other programs, movies have to be decompressed beforehand. In this case,
you might want to convert decompressed MRC movies into TIFF to save your local storage.

1. Lipid-stabilised 5-HT3A serotonin receptor in asymmetric open state
Category:
micrographs - multiframe
Image format:
MRC
No. of images or tilt series:
2261
Image size:
(4096, 4096)
Pixel type:
SIGNED 16 BIT INTEGER
Pixel spacing:
(0.832, 0.832)
Details:
The particles are the refined particles in the final asymmetric open map. Name called -
251k_particles.mrcs
251k_particles.star
They are generated using relion_stack_create, taking the run_data.star as input. The particle stack mrcs file is in a single stack containing all refined 251k particles for the asymmetric open state map. The micrographs are raw data, without any realignment, of 69 raw movie frame (accumulating 30 electron per squared Angstrom using Falcon III camera in a ~32 second exposure.)

2. Lipid-stabilised 5-HT3A serotonin receptor in apo state forms (symmetric C5 apo and asymmetric C1 apo)
Category:
micrographs - multiframe
Image format:
MRC
No. of images or tilt series:
5053
Image size:
(4096, 4096)
Pixel type:
SIGNED 16 BIT INTEGER
Pixel spacing:
(0.832, 0.832)
Details:
The particles are the refined particles in the final asymmetric apo state map and symmetric apo state map. Names called -
(1) 152k_particles.mrcs and 152_particles.star for asymmetric apo (C1) state map;
(2) 238k_particles.mrcs and 238_particles.star for symmetric apo (C5) state map.
They are generated using relion_stack_create, taking the run_data.star for each job respectively as input. The two particle stack mrcs files are in a single stack containing all refined particles for the asymmetric apo state map and symmetric apo state map, accordingly.
The micrographs are raw data, without any realignment, of 69 raw movie frame (accumulating 30 electron per squared Angstrom using Falcon III camera in a ~32 second exposure.)
